LSMAG (Lunar Surface MAGnetometer)
The Lunar Surface MAGnetometer (LSMAG) is being developed as one of the payload instruments for the Discovery Across Lunar Observations (DALO) project. DALO is a research and development initiative focused on the Moon, led by the Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute (KASI). LSMAG's primary scientific purpose is to investigate the lunar south pole's magnetic environment. This investigation will enhance our understanding of lunar space weather in the termination region through time-varying magnetic field observations on the lunar surface.
